Eaton SecureConnect Mobile Application
You may be aware that the new version of the SecureConnect app is being deployed via Apple Appstore and Google Playstore.
This update includes changes to the appearance and layout including the ability to view zone status and omit zones, and many background changes.
Because of the change in storage requirements of newer mobile operating systems, customers will need to re-enter their username and password and, in some cases, create a new password.
However, we have received reports of some users having issues when creating/resetting a password, relating to special characters, and also with entry of some email addresses (those containg the – character).
This is currently being investigated, and we expect an update to the app to resolve this in the next couple of days.
In the meantime, for your customers who are experiencing issues when creating new password, please advise them to only use the following special characters as part of their password $ % & @
